The Sea Monster
Mara-ki-hau is a sea monster who lives in a cave under the sea. 
His teeth are long and sharp. His tongue is long and hollow. He chases the whales and the fisherman. When he is angry, he crashes the waves and it sounds like thunder.
When he is hungry, he sucks up fish.
I love the way you described the sea monster's teeth as long and sharp, and the sound of the crashing waves as thunder.
