I was in my kitchen eating my delicious breakfast one morning during the holidays. Mum was busy cooking breakfast and then she asked me in a tired voice to chop a branch out of her Avocado tree. I felt happy that I was going to climb a tall tree.
As soon as I had finished my breakfast, I ran outside to the garage and grabbed Mum’s hand saw and started climbing up the tree. Mum told me which branch to cut out of the tree. Once I had cut the branch out, I asked Mum if I could cut the rest of the tree down. Mum said, “yes” so I did.

Swimming Sports!
I felt the sun burning my face as I sat on the stands waiting for my race.
The water was glistening as we lined up to go.Then Mr K told us to get into the pool.
I stepped into the pool,it was like I had stepped into the Antarctic. Then Mr K blew the whistle,I took off like a rocket, hitting the other side at 100 mph doing freestyle.I came second! I felt happy.
After the race, I went and sat on the boiling hot stands and watched the other students swimming lots of different styles.
Swimming Sports was EPIC!

Diwali
I have been learning about Diwali and this is what it is.
Diwali is the Indian festival of light and is held in late October to early November. The festival lasts for five days. On the first day of the festival a rangoli pattern is made out of coloured powder and put by the front door to welcome visitors.
On the second day Alisha made some sweet called barfi for family and friends.
On the third day the family lights divas (lamps) and fireworks.
On the fourth day it's New Years Day and Alisha has been given a new sari by her Grandmother and then will dance and sing at a concert.
On the last day it's Bhai Beej, a special day for brothers and sisters. Then a New Year begins.

Crash Landing
0ne day, James and I were flying a helicopter over a desert when James fainted because it was too hot. I couldh’t fly a helicopter.
Our helicopter crash landed.
It was creepy when the helicopter was falling towards the ground, but we weren’t hurt.
The helicopter was broken. The rotors had fallen off and all the glass was broken and lying all over the ground.
We were stuck in the desert.
We looked around and saw some wolves.
We lit a fire and the wolves slinked away.We repaired the helicopter and flew back to base.

The Wizard of Oz
Tomorrow, we are going to perform The Wizard of Oz in front of our first audience. I am a crow. I have to tease the scarecrows by flapping my arms and running between them and not being scared when they want me to. The Winkees get to sing, "Oh way oh, Winkee oh." It is cool.
